Markets in Mersch

Mersch, in the Alzette valley in the centre of the country, is one of the busiest market towns on our calendar. The Topaze shopping centre hosts a Kreativmaart and, in December, a Chrëschtmaart run by Hobbykënschtler Lëtzebuerg; the commune holds its own Christmas market on Place Saint-Michel. In the village of Berschbach, the Bieschbecher Atelier holds a Hierschtmaart in autumn and an Adventsmaart before Christmas at the Blannenheem.
