What HobbyLux costs you
Listing your market and using the organiser portal are free. On markets paid on the day or outside HobbyLux, HobbyLux takes no money for the stands.
The booking fee
On a market with online payment, the maker pays the stand price + a booking fee of 2.50 € + 4% of the stand price. The booking fee goes to HobbyLux for the booking service, not to you. The maker sees the stand price, the booking fee and the total before paying.
An example
- Stand price: 35.00 €
- Booking fee: 2.50 € + 4% of 35.00 € = 3.90 €
- The maker pays 38.90 €.
- You get 35.00 €.
Stripe’s card fee
Stripe takes its card fee from each payment. It is covered by the booking fee: HobbyLux passes it back to you, so you get the stand price. Cards from outside Europe can cost you a little more. Stripe shows its fee in your Stripe dashboard.
On a full refund, Stripe keeps its card fee, and that part comes from your Stripe balance. See Refunds.
When the money arrives
Makers pay into your Stripe account. Stripe sends your money to your bank account once a week. A paid stand comes with your next weekly payout.
Your payouts and your bank account are in your Stripe dashboard: in Account, “Get paid online”, tap Open your Stripe dashboard.
Receipts and taxes
When a maker pays online, you sell the stand: you are the seller. HobbyLux runs the booking. The maker’s receipt shows the name from your Stripe account.
As the seller, you are responsible for your own taxes and for the invoices or receipts you give.
