Offers for makers who join in time

Sometimes HobbyLux runs an offer for makers who join in a set period. The For makers page shows the offer running now, when it ends and what it gives. The welcome step of the setup shows it too.

You join in time when you publish your storefront for the first time before the offer ends, Luxembourg time. Building it takes about 10 minutes, and you publish it yourself.

Free forever

If you joined during a free offer, your full storefront stays free as long as it is active. Nothing changes for you when the offer ends.

Good to know

The terms say: a storefront with no login for 12 months is archived. We email you first.

Founder places

An offer can have a set number of Founder places. The first storefronts published during that offer become Founders, in the order they are published. The For makers page shows how many places are left.

Founders get the badge “Founder #N” and the full storefront free forever. The badge shows on your storefront, in the makers list and under “Makers here”.

Everyone who joins during a free offer keeps the full storefront free. The first ones also get a Founder number and badge. Makers who join later start with Free basic.
Good to know

Your Founder number is yours and never changes. It is not given to anyone else, even if you delete your account. Sample pages do not count.

Free basic and the full storefront

Free basic is free for everyone: your name, your markets and up to {limit_basic} products.

The full storefront shows up to {limit_full} products, with photos and links. Makers who joined during a free offer have it for free. For everyone else it has a price; the For makers page shows it, incl. VAT.

You cannot pay for a plan yet: switching to a paid plan is coming. We tell you by email before anything costs you money.

How many products you can show

Products shows how many you have and how many your plan allows, for example “18 of {limit_full} products”.

At the limit, Add a product does not work. To add a new product, remove one first. All your products stay on your storefront.

Good to know

If a limit goes down, your products stay online. You can add new ones once you are below it.

Where you see your plan

Open Account and look at the card “Your plan”. A Founder sees the badge there. Products shows your plan and why, for example “Free forever: you are Founder #13.”

  1. Your plan.
  2. The Founder badge, if you have one.

Before you publish, it says “Your plan starts when you publish.”

Always free

“Ask for a stand” is free for every maker, always. Organisers use HobbyLux for free.

The stand price goes to the organiser. On markets that take payment online, you also pay a booking fee to HobbyLux. See Pay for a stand.
